Description
Das Design dieser Schatulle basiert auf der Armada-Juwelensammlung des Victorian and Albert Museum. Die Miniatur von Königin Elisbeth I. im Inneren des Juwels ist auf 1580 datiert und wird Nicolas Hillard zugeschrieben. Es wird angenommen, dass das Juwel Sir Thomas Heneage von der Königin anlässlich der Niederlage der spanischen Armanda überreicht wurde. Maße: Durchmesser ca. 6 cm | The design of this box is based on the Armada Jewel collection of the Victorian and Albert Museum. The miniature of Queen Elizabeth I inside the jewel is dated 1580 and is attributed to Nicolas Hillard.
