Die zweiteilige Ausführung ist aus versilbertem Metall mit Emaille, mittig findet man das Monogramm Kaiser Franz Josephs I. Die feine Detailausführung mit Flügel- und Kranzmotiv, hat auf der Rückseite, senkrechter Nadel. Die Emaille ist vollständig erhalten, hat leichte Gebrauchsspuren und ist insgesamt in ausgezeichnetem Erhaltungszustand. Es ist ein qualitativ hochwertiges und seltenes Pilotenauszeichnungsstück aus der Zeit um 1940, das die Tradition der kaiserlich-österreichischen Fliegerabzeichen eindrucksvoll fortführt. The finely detailed design includes a wing and wreath motif and a vertical pin on the reverse. The enamel is fully intact, showing slight signs of wear, and is overall in excellent condition.
