Dieser seltene und frühe Ritterorden des Heiligen Papstes und Märtyrers Stephan (Sacro Militare Ordine di Santo Stefano Papa e Martire) wurde 1561 gestiftet. Bestehend aus einem vergoldeten bronzenen Malteserkreuz mit roten Glassteinen in den Armen, feinen Goldrändern und vergoldeten Lilien in den Zwischenräumen (Symbol des Hauses Medici). Das Kreuz misst 77,45 x 85,13 mm (inkl. Ring), wiegt 52,8 g und ist am originalen roten Band befestigt. Es weist Leichte Altersspuren und Kratzer auf, dennoch ist die Vergoldung sehr gut erhalten. Sehr schöne, sammelwürdige Erhaltung.
Der gestickte Bruststern mit rotem Malteserkreuz, Metallfäden und Pailletten, misst 58,9 x 58,8 mm, 2,3 g und hat geringe Altersspuren. It is an expressive ensemble of Tuscan medallion craftsmanship, circa 1800.
